How much smaller will the file get?
Usually 2–10x, depending on the source image and the quality level you choose.
Will the image look worse?
With standard compression the loss is barely noticeable. For stronger compression, pick the "Compact size" mode.
Can I compress a lot of photos at once?
Yes, upload as many images as you like — they'll process as a batch, and you can download the results as one ZIP.
Why are only JPEG and WebP on the list?
Only these two compress with loss, so the quality choice really does shrink the file. JPEG works everywhere, and WebP is usually lighter at the same quality. PNG, BMP and TIFF compress without loss, so the quality choice would change nothing there. If you need PNG specifically, open the image converter. You can upload any pictures here, including PNG.
Is it free to use?
